Marla Williams Joins Genie Marketing DeparmentREDMOND, WASH. (Dec. 21, 2006) – Genie Industries welcomes Marla Williams to its marketing department in the role of marketing manager for the Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) business segment, comprised of Genie, Terex Load King trailers and Terex generators, light towers and power buggies. With 22 years of experience to draw on, Williams will be responsible for developing and implementing product marketing strategies for the Terex AWP products and services. Prior to accepting the marketing manager position, Williams was a self-employed marketing consultant with clients in the non-profit, retail and manufacturing industries. Williams, previously a 15-year veteran at Genie, was Genie’s first human resources manager and established and then managed the company’s human resources department for eight years before serving as one of Genie’s first product/project managers. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Personnel Management/Business Administration from the University of Washington.
